A versatile member of the theatre community, Chris has been involved in various aspects of the management and performance process beyond directing and acting.

  • Creative Production Assistant

    Chris’ role was to assist and lead creative production and business-related activities. They were also Head Creative Producer for Scenes 3 & 4.

  • Casting Director & MUA

    Prodcued by Kelly Saenz and Directed by Janice Derosier. Chris was in charge of both casting the film, as well as designing and doing makeup. To view the short film, click here.

  • Set Designer

    21 Chump Street’s set was designed by Chris. They were also the director, stage manager, costume designer, props master, fight choreographer, intimacy director, light and sound board operator, and makeup designer/artist.   • Fight Choreographer

    While also being the director of “Boeing - Boeing”, Chris was also the fight choreographer for this production. Chris was in charge of safely choreographing the stage combat aspect of this show.

  • Assistant Stage Manager

    Chris joined the Summer Shorts: Homegrown Edition team as the Assistant Stage Manager. This marked Chris’s third production with City Theatre. In this role, they were responsible for supervising the Summer Shorts interns and overseeing several rehearsals in the director’s absence. Chris also worked closely with the Deck Manager to help manage the production and ensure everything ran smoothly backstage.

  • Stage Manager/Makeup Artist/ Costume Designer - Last Firely

    Chris took on triple-duty for TheatreUCF’s production of The Last Firefly, serving as the stage manager, costume designer, and makeup artist. As stage manager, Chris was responsible for checking in the crew and actors, taking run notes, and ensuring everyone was on time. In the role of costume designer, Chris created visual presentations and assembled costume pieces for the production. As the makeup designer and artist, Chris designed the special effects looks, presented them to the directing team for approval, and applied the makeup to the designated actors, spending about 10 minutes per actor.

  • Willy Wonka Junior - Props Designer/Makeup Artist

    Chris had the honor of working as both the props designer and makeup artist for Lake Highland Preparatory Academy’s production of Willy Wonka Jr. As props designer, Chris was responsible for creating the props and teaching the students how to use them effectively on stage. In their role as makeup artist, Chris guided the students in properly applying their stage makeup and assisted with specialty makeup for specific characters.
